I am a proud daughter of rural Kentucky, deeply rooted in our Appalachian heritage, and the first in my family to graduate from college. For over 12 years, my husband Chris and I have called this region home, and together we’re raising our spectacular 12-year-old daughter, Audrey.
As a public school educator, I live and breathe the value of public education every single day. My commitment to our community runs deep. from serving as the President of the Franklin County Democratic Women’s Club to working on the executive committee to ensure our voices are heard.
I’m not running to represent special interests. I’m running to represent working families. That’s why I am incredibly honored to be officially endorsed by the AFL-CIO (KY) and Iron Workers Local #44.
I’m Stella Pollard, your 2026 Democratic Nominee for Kentucky’s 20th Senate District, and I’m ready to work for you.

Supporting our educators means giving them the resources to teach, the pay they deserve, and the respect they’ve earned. Together, we can, KENTUCKY!
“Stella Pollard’s advocacy echoes the spirit of Kentucky, resilient and committed to a future where every individual has an opportunity to thrive.” – Cluster Howard, former State Representative District 91
What I Stand For
Investing in Our Local Infrastructure We deserve safe roads, reliable utilities, and transparent communication about our public works. I am committed to fighting for the funding and accountability needed to maintain vital local connections—like the Singing Bridge right here in Frankfort—so our communities stay safe, strong, and connected.
Standing Up for Working Families Kentucky was built by hard-working men and women. Proudly backed by labor, including the AFL-CIO and Iron Workers Local #44, I will always advocate for fair wages, safe working conditions, and policies that support the families who keep our commonwealth running.
Supporting Public Education As a public school educator, I know that strong schools build strong communities. We must support our educators by ensuring they have the resources to teach, the competitive pay they deserve, and the respect they’ve earned.
